A writing update

November crushed me.  I was less than 500 words shy of winning Nanowrimo 2009, but time ran out and I was left with a great start on a novel, but no big win.  Since then I've started writing professionally, freelance and worked one getting SotO in shape for publishing. I'm still working on it, as it turns out, since it needs one more storyline to feel truly flushed out.  After that it will be time to relearn how to query and how to write a proper synopsis, since I don't like the one I wrote before.

More exciting, however, are my plans for next month. I've decided to try my hand at Script Frenzy, and am working on a really powerful graphic novel with my husband.  I've entitled the project Makaira, the name of not the main character, but rather his wife.  While the details are still sketchy, this will be the most astonishing thing I've written. I can't wait to work on it. Hopefully my talent for brevity will work in my favor this time.

On a side note, where is my Blogowrimo?

I saw that and simply didn't know what to say, so I remained silent.

Glad you're back in the writing swing. Good luck with Script Frenzy!
